Why is my balance available to invest changing even when I’m not placing orders?

Your Available Balance to Invest may change even without placing new orders due to automatic updates in your account. MTM profit/loss on open positions gets adjusted in real time. Exchange settlement obligations, pending charges, or interest postings can also modify the balance. If you use pledged collateral or MTF, changes in haircut or collateral value may impact availability. Intraday margin blocks getting released or recalculated by RMS can also cause fluctuations. Corporate actions or ledger adjustments may update your balance as well.
