How to open a demat cum trading account online with Share India?

Open a demat cum trading account online for FREE if you are a resident individual with your mobile number linked to your Aadhaar.

Required documents:

• PAN number
• Aadhaar number linked to your mobile number
• Bank Account details
• Income proof (required only for F&O or Commodity trading)

Steps to open your account

1. Install Share India App from App Store or Google Play Store, or visit

2. Enter your name as per PAN and mobile number and click on Get OTP. Enter the OTP and continue

4. Enter your PAN number and date of birth

5. Verify your email ID, then click on Send OTP

6. Enter the OTP you received on your email ID and click on Save & Proceed

7. Choose the segments you would like to trade in, and click on Save & Proceed

8. Enter your bank details, then click on Save & Proceed

9. Enter your details, such as:

• Personal Details,
• Address Details
• SMS OPT-IN
• Account Statement Frequency, then click on Save & Proceed

9. Provide

• Esign Consent
• Capture Selfie (clearly visible)
• Draw your signature on the screen or upload a copy of your signature
• Upload Income proof (if you want to trade in F&O or Commodity segments), then click on Save & Proceed

10. If you wish to add a nominee, click on details of nominee, enter the nominee details. Share India recommends adding a nominee. However, you may also add a nominee after your account has been opened

11. Provide consent for below:

• Are you politically exposed person or related to one?
• Consent for running account authorisation?
• Do you wish to apply for Delivery Instruction Slips?
• Do you wish to apply for Demat Debit and Pledge Instruction?
• DP Charges
• MITC, Policy for Handling Good Till Triggered Orders, T&C of Share India

12. Click on Sign Now and digitally sign your account opening forms using your Aadhaar Number and OTP.

After submission, KYC team of Share India will review your application and if found in order, your demat cum trading account will be activated by the next working day. Share India will share your account credentials on your registered email ID.
