What can be used as collateral for Margin Trading Facility (MTF)?

Collateral for MTF can include:

• Cash Balance available in the trading account
• Cash Equivalents
• Group 1 Securities as defined by the stock exchanges

These collaterals are subject to the eligibility and haircut norms prescribed by SEBI and the respective stockbroker.
