As a client, your responsibilities in placing and managing GTT (Good Till Triggered) orders include:
- Setting up the GTT order by specifying:
- Trigger price
- Order type (Buy/Sell)
- Limit or market price
- Ensuring sufficient funds or holdings are available in your account at the time of order execution.
- Authorizing TPIN for sell orders (unless you have submitted DDPI/POA).
- Monitoring order status & expiry
- Modifying or cancelling if market conditions change
📌 Note: GTT orders are not “set and forget.” Regular review is essential to avoid missed opportunities or failed executions.
