Health and Wellbeing

The health and wellbeing of employees and society have always been a prime concern at Share India. Through our community development initiatives, we work towards promoting health and preventing diseases with a series of interventions. We not only take health-related initiatives for our employees but also contribute to society for a healthier community.

Operation Theatre

Share India has funded Rotary Foundation (India) for Operation Theatre along with associated equipment at Balak Ram Hospital, Timarpur, Delhi which will cater predominantly to the underprivileged community of the society. The Operation theatre is planned primarily for Eye specialty surgeries. The facility would be used for community services.

Advancing Diagnostics and Personalized Therapies for Eye Disorders

Share India has funded to Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital for Flow cytometer for ophthalmological and translational research for Daryaganj, New Delhi center. Objective of the Project is to set up flow cytometry for early detection and diagnosis of Ocular Pathologies.

The flow cytometer is widely used for assessing immune-related pathologies. At this centre, it will be used for evaluating the immunology of inflammatory eye pathologies like Steven Johnson Syndrome (SJS), Dry Eye, Vernal Kerato Conjunctivitis, Keratitis, Uveitis, etc. It will also be used for diagnostics and in due course of time for evaluating the efficacy of therapies. The treatment would be done for underprivileged. Goal of this project is to benefit approximately 1000 patients initially in the first year and this number will increase significantly with the success of this project.

Ambulance Facility

We, at Share India has facilitated a free Ambulance Facility since November 2020, in the rural area Gopal Ganj (Bihar) to facilitate the patients and their family to carry them to hospital or in case of any kind of medical emergency.

Share India has taken this initiative to provide relief when Covid-19 was on peak level in India in the first phase and people were in immense need of the Ambulance, as there was no such facility available in the village. We have served more than 1000 families in the village and nearby surrounded villages.

Healthcare Camps

Preventive Health Check-up Camp for Employees

Share India organized a preventive health check-up camp for its employees in collaboration with Radix Healthcare. The camp included monitoring CBC, Blood Sugar Test, Lipid Profile, KFT, LFT, TSH, and BP. In addition, doctors provided insights during the camp to raise awareness about the early detection of potential diseases

Blood Donation Camp

Share India, in collaboration with Rotary Blood Bank, organized a blood donation camp at our premises. The donated blood can serve as a crucial resource in medical emergencies, providing assistance to those in need. This initiative fosters a sense of community participation and highlights the individual’s contribution to society. We successfully collected approximately 100 units of blood during the camp.
