What are Exchange Transaction Charges?

These are fees charged by exchanges (NSE, BSE, MCX) on trades. Brokers pass them on to clients.

Example (NSE – F&O segment):

• Futures: 0.00173% (₹1.73 per lakh)
• Options: 0.03503% (₹35.03 per lakh of premium)
