What statutory charges apply while trading?

Government and regulator levies applicable to all market participants:

1. STT/CTT:

• Equity Delivery: 0.1% (₹100 per lakh) on both Buy & Sell
• Equity Intraday: 0.025% (₹25 per lakh) on Sell side
• Futures: 0.02% (₹20 per lakh) on Sell side
• Options:

1. 0.1% of the premium for options that are shorted (sell side)
2. 0.125% of the intrinsic value on options that are bought and exercised

2. SEBI Charges: ₹10 per crore (plus GST)

3. Stamp Duty: On Buy-side, as per state laws

4.  IPFT (NSE):

• Delivery & Intraday – 0.0001%
• Futures – 0.0001%
• Options – 0.0005%

5. GST: 18% on SEBI charges, exchange transaction charges, and other applicable fees
