Quality Education

At Share India, we focus on promoting quality education as a key to ensuring the overall development of society. This includes addressing the needs of differently-abled children and emphasizing on underprivileged and women’s education. We also work towards identifying and removing barriers to education for those most in need, creating a better learning environment for children and women.

Primary School Education Program

Share India has funded Shatakshi Education Trust to operate four centers and two sub-centres for underprivileged children in Gopalganj, Bihar. This project primarily focuses on providing primary education to both boys and girls, with approximately 1200 underprivileged kids benefiting from modern educational facilities. Share India has been actively involved in this initiative since 2021.

Project Shiksha ki Kiran

Share India, with its implementing agency, Share India Smile Foundation, has initiated the “Shiksha Ki Kiran” project. We are supplying essentials to underprivileged children in schools managed by Shatakshi Education Trust in Gopalganj, Bihar.

As part of this endeavor, in 2023, we distributed 800 winter uniform sets, 800 pairs of shoes, and 5100 notebooks to underprivileged school children.

Empowering Speech and Hearing-Impaired Children: Online Program for Cognitive and Communication Skills

Share India has funded Orjet Foundation for conducting an online training program for speech and hearing-impaired children. The objectives of the program are:

  • To enable these children to acquire Indian Sign Language (ISL) skills through Deaf Role Models (DRM) – developing linguistic skills
  • To improve communication between specially-abled children and their families
  • To develop English and Maths literacy and create awareness about the world around them through ISL

The program has been running since 2021. Five batches, each having maximum 20 children, have been completed.One hundred and two children and their families have benefited from the program. In addition to teaching children through this program, we also provide employment to specially-abled teachers.

Los Amigos Society – Construction of School

Share India with its implementing agency, Share India Smile Foundation and Los Amigos Society supported the construction and infrastructure of a school located in Greater Noida. The objective of the project is to develop educational institutions of International Standards in India and abroad.

In this project, our target is young learners. We collaborate with the community, parents and educators, working hand in hand to nurture both the curious and compassionate sides of young learners. The project has benefited 700 people till yet.

Skill Development Program

Share India, in association with Hindu Kanya College, has been conducting remedial classes in Kapurthala, Punjab, in Computer Science and Commerce, along with skill development training in Fashion Designing and Cosmetology for women to foster employability and inclusive economic growth. Share India has been associated with the said college since 2023, and over 100 women and their families have benefited from the project.

Empowering Aspirants for Success in Civil Services Examination

In an endeavour to empower aspiring civil servants, the year 2024 marked the launch of Share India Smile Foundation ‘s most coveted project named Mission IAS.  Mission IAS is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at providing comprehensive support to candidates preparing for the prestigious civil services examination.

This project stands as a beacon of hope for countless individuals across the nation who aspire to serve our country. Recognizing the significant barriers faced by many aspirants, such as financial constraints and lack of access to quality coaching etc, Share India Smile Foundation has taken proactive steps to address these challenges head-on.

One of the key pillars of Mission IAS is its provision of free boarding and food, thereby ensuring that candidates focus wholeheartedly on their studies without worrying about basic necessities like accommodation or meals etc. By alleviating these basic needs, Mission IAS shall enable aspirants to channelize their energy and intellect towards rigorous preparation, thus maximizing their chances of success in the competitive examination.

The spectrum of this project is not just limited to providing accommodation and sustenance to the aspirants, but also providing free coaching to them, leveraging the expertise of seasoned educators and mentors. The initiative aims to provide guidance, resources, and personalized support to help aspirants navigate the complexities of the civil services syllabus effectively.
